Yalcin Konuk

Yalcin was born in 1970 in Liege-Belgium and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Hacettepe University. He earned a scholarship of the United Nations and completed his Master of Sciences degree at the IAM of Montpellier in France. He worked as manager and director in various fields such as Incentive Tourism, Public Relations, Investment Consulting and Textile in Istanbul. In 2012 and in 2016 he released respectively two music albums ‘Kusur Güzeldir’ and ‘Güzel Olan Her Şeye Aşık Ol’. He is the writer, composer, producer and art director of these two albums. He directed, edited, and produced some of the music videos coming out of these albums. He produced, directed and edited music videos for Turkish and International singers. He wrote and directed his first short movie ‘The Run’ in 2017. ‘The Run’ participated to the Cannes Film Festival 2018 and many other festivals around the world and in Turkey. He will film his crime/drama new short movie in spring 2019. He works on the writing of the script of two original feature movies.
