The Spear Sisters (Kailey and Sam)

Kailey Spear and Sam Spear are directors/writers/actors (and twin sisters) from Bowen Island, BC. In 2012 they completed the film program at Simon Fraser University. After directing a theatre production of HAMLET in Vancouver (which they plan to bring to screen!) they wrote and directed THE MARY ALICE BRANDON FILE, a short Twilight Saga prequel. The short was the winner of the “New Voices of The Twilight Saga” competition hosted by Tongal, Lionsgate, Facebook, Volvo, and WIF-LA. They have since been recognized at the WIF Crystal and Lucy Awards and were given the Spotlight Award by WIF&TV-Vancouver. Their more recent film projects include short films: CC (a 2018 Crazy8s winner) and ALIEN: ORE (made with 20th Century Fox and Tongal in celebration of the 40th anniversary of ALIEN). As actors, you can see them in shows such as WHEN WE RISE, RIVERDALE, BATES MOTEL, and SUPERNATURAL. Representation: Literary: Jenny Maryasis, United Talent Agency.
