Shaun Escayg

Shaun Escayg is an award-winning Writer/Director with an extensive background in Visual Effects and Animation. With film titles such as Transformers- Dark of the moon, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Outlander. Shaun’s film directorial debut, a film titled “Fish”, won “Best short Film” at the Belize International Film Festival and “Best International Film” at the Malibu International Film Festival. “Fish” was also an official selection at the Academy-qualifying 2012 LA Shorts International Film Festival.

In addition to his film and visual effects background, Shaun has also worked on some of the most iconic story-driven video games in the industry. Titles such as The Last of Us, Uncharted the Lost Legacy and Marvels Avengers- Kamala Khan and commercial spots for franchises such as Mass Effect, Dragon’s age and DC Online.

In 2014, Shaun began working with the Grammy award-winning artist, Stephen Marley, creating thought-provoking music videos such as Rockstone, Scars on my feet and Ghetto Boy. Shaun’s latest short film, Ikarus, is a proof of concept glimpse into a dystopian future, where two siblings must shoot down and pillage cargo drones in order to survive.
