John Henry Hinkel

John Henry Hinkel is a writer and filmmaker. At Harvard, he studied History and Literature of America, and took courses in filmmaking and film theory. He previously directed the low-budget feature film, THE DEATH OF RICHARD YOUNG, which screened in Atlanta, Boston, New York, and London, and the short film, REUNION. With HOME, he hopes to continue exploring complex and nuanced characters, while also enhancing the look of the film by collaborating with a talented team of professional artists and innovators. As a writer, he has several screenplays in development. In 2012, he worked at Le Grisbi Productions under John Lesher, producer of END OF WATCH and BLOOD TIES.
