Jamil Munoz

Jamil, 31, was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. He holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University, as well as a BFA in Film from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts,.

His most recent short, KIKO, won the Jack Larson Collaboration Award, as well as a grant from The Davey Foundation. His teleplay, Baretia, was a recipient of a development grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He is currently a freelance editor based in New York, and is developing his feature debut.
