Eleonora Mignoli

Eleonora Mignoli is an Italian-born UK-based screenwriter, repped by Madeleine Cotter at WGM Atlantic Talent & Literary Group. She is interested in themes of identity, gender, family, and age-politics, and has been praised for her ability to couple original world-building premises with emotional, character-led stories.

Her drama feature Legacy has been awarded BFI Network Early Development funding, and she has been selected for the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew 2021 program and for the Series Mania Writers Campus 2022. She has been commissioned a feature film rewrite by Paguro Film, on a concept previously selected for the Biennale Cinema College 2020 and the European Genre Forum 2021. She is also working with Manchester-based company Belly Feel as an Interactive Story Designer.

Two-times winner with her LGBT sci-fi script feature Seed of Knowledge (Shore Scripts 2020and StoryPros Awards 2019), her screenplays have consistently scored in the top ranks of prestigious UK and international competitions, including Austin Film Festival, Sir Peter Ustinov, and Nicholl Fellowship.

Her latest written-and-directed short film, The Bargain, has been acquired by the online platform DUST, which has more than 4 million viewers worldwide.
