Chris Reading
Chris Reading began his career directing commercials and short films. He made his start as a feature film writer-director with the stylised retro sci-fi thriller SOMNUS (2016), which was acquired for worldwide distribution by Epic Pictures Group in 2016. SOMNUS screened at a number of film festivals in the UK and overseas. Subsequently Chris has written the sci-fi-comedy THE UNREASON which is currently in development to be Chris’ second feature length project. In 2019 working with Twentieth Century Fox, Chris wrote and directed ALIEN: Containment, an official ALIEN short film to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the 1979 classic.
