Carlos Cortes

Carlos Cortes has worked on various award winning short films in the past 4 years. He was an Assistant Director on the short film Way Too Many Problems, which won the Best Short Film at the SoCal International Film Festival. His latest short film, “disconnected”, was an Official Selection at the Newport Beach Film Festival and has been selected by Shorts.TV to be shown on their television channel later this year. He’s had experience in the film industry by interning at Worldwide Motion Pictures Corporation and Langley Park Pictures, a production company of Warner Bros, and has recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with an M.F.A in Radio/TV/Film. Since then he has worked in advertising as an associate editor and has recently worked as Post Production Supervisor on a Nicolas Cage-led feature, slated to be released later this year.
